So I got my class ring last night. I know everyone says that it’s all fun, but you won’t have a clue where it is in about 10 years. That might be true for most people, but it’s so much more than that to me.

This ring says that in the school God placed me in, I only have one more year. Statistics say that the majority of the people who get saved do so when they are younger. All the students at Dutchtown are part of my battlefield. I can’t just say “Oh well I’ll just do that next year” because this is my next year.

My biggest prayer is that I hear the hearts crying out to him when I’m at school. That my ring isn’t just a symbol of my education, but a reminder of the souls I’m responsible for winning. Also, for God to give me courage and boldness each and every day I’m there.

I’m really not sure if this birthday could get any better. I have the best family and friends anyone could ask for! I got texts from so many different people. HAHA! Including Dustin’s caravan of letters.

Anyways so Ryan decided that for my birthday he would take me where I’ve been wanting to go…THE ZOO! Anyways so I took like 80 something pictures and here are a few that you can enjoy.

So, I’m getting really excited! Just the thought…I will be traveling on the other side of the world in like 125 days! I really couldn’t ask for a better group of people to go with. Of course, this has been consuming practically all of my thoughts.

Anyways, so this is my last week working at On The Half Shell. Yes, that’s right! I’m going back to Smoothie King. I couldn’t stay away from “the art of blending”. So now my life can consist of more than just school and work.

But I’m still looking for things to do to raise money! I don’t know how to cut grass so don’t call me to do that. But any other ideas I’m open!

So last night me and brooke went shopping at Perkins Row. It was so much fun! I got a picture of that chandelier hanging in the movie theater. The picture doesn’t even come close to how big it actually is!

I woke up this morning at 5:30 AM because I thought we met at the annex at 7:00AM for the water outreach. I was wrong. Anyways, it was REALLY fun! We had about 10 people come to serve, and we gave out water at a St. Patrick’s Day parade. I went there expecting people to look at us like we were dumb and laugh at us, but it was the complete opposite. Everyone was so excited and shocked that we were giving out FREE water! We got to tell them about our Easter services and show them God’s love.

Now we had people ask us if we had free beer, where the green beer was being sold, and if we wanted a beer. However, they left with a seed inside of them that I hope and pray will grow. My prayers will continue for them and I hope yours will as well. It was a really fun outreach and I’m really excited ones that are to come!

Here are some pictures from today:

so i know i havent posted in awhile, but i guess i have been busy.

however…today when i get home from school i will update you on everything thats been going on lately! :)

Well I am finally ACCEPTED for AFRICA!!!!!!!!

So I am going to need help with fundraising. If you have anything I can do, just call me. :)

Last night I went to Bethany for Amy’s special service. It was so amazing. That family is so inspirational. I mean there was a STORM on their parade but they are just living in God’s peace. What an incredible bunch of people there.

When I got home, I almost felt down. People don’t realize how great it is to have their entire family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc) in a relationship with God. My family isn’t like that. They believe there is a God and they are a “good bunch of people”, but they don’t know God. I told my Mom that I feel so far from them when I’m around all of them.

It was almost like God spoke to me and said…”What about your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren”? Be something different. Start something new. So I’m pretty excited about the years to come! :)
